Our monthly event for young people school Years 7-11 in NSP church from 7.00 pm - 8.30 pm taking place on the 4th Monday of the month.  For a £1 donation there will the opportunity to enjoy food, games, crafts or just chill.

The church space in Norton St Philip is available to hire for any event from a meeting to a wedding reception.

The space is flexible with a variety of seating and tables for use.

Our 13th-century church and its churchyard in Norton St Philip is maintained with the help of the Friends of St Philip & St James through a fund administered by the Fabric and Friends Committee, a sub-committee of the PCC of the Parish of Hardington Vale.

The committee help to raise money to pay for the maintenance of the church building through the promotion of concerts and various other events.  The church building accommodates many events besides the regular church services, including weddings (both ceremonies and receptions), baptisms, funerals, parent and toddler group, Forget-me-Not Cafe, local school productions, Christmas Fair, lunchtime and evening concerts.

Becoming a Friend means you will be kept up to date on ongoing maintenance, forthcoming concerts and be part of a larger group of like-minded people determined to keep this precious, historic building for the next generations.

TOTS and TOYS

Our baby and toddler group is open on Wednesdays  9.00 am -10.45 am at St Philip and St James Church Norton St Philip no booking needed. If you have just dropped your child at pre-school or school and you are on your own, you are welcome to pop in for a coffee and a chat with friends even for a few minutes.  £2.00 per adult to include coffee and cake. Please bring your own refreshments for your child.

BABY/TODDLER/PRE-SCHOOLER SUPPORT GROUP

Welcomes: all parents and carers

in St Philip & St James Church, Norton St Philip

EVERY WEDNESDAY 9.00 am -11.00 am 

no booking required!

Join us for play, music and movement, craft and story time and time to chat with other parents and carers in a friendly child safe setting.

£2.00 per adult per session to include a drink, slice of cake plus a craft activity for your child to do in group time with parent/carer or to take home. Please bring the right change.

 We welcome 0-5 year olds and their parents, grandparents and other carers. We are usually open every Wednesday morning throughout the year except for Christmas. In the school holidays we also offer ‘pop up’ family workshops at the same time for older siblings and/or other families with primary age children.

Dear families thank you for all your prayers and get well wishes following my recent fall whilst visiting my family in Scotland. Also, thank you for the beautiful bouquet of roses and lilies which was delivered to my house . I have to rest my injured leg and so Mini Breakfast Church will be on Zoom for November and December.

MINI BREAKFAST CHURCH 

Mini Breakfast Church is this Sunday 19 December.   It is on the 3rd Sunday each month and is normally in St Philip & St James Church in Norton St Philip from 9.00 am-9.30am.  However, for the time being it is on ZOOM.
