Inspired by the love of Jesus to love God and to love others

Our international charity needs your practical help!

One way is by joining the amazing group of knitters who make hats, scarves and fingerless gloves which are given to seafarers to help them keep warm during long cold nights spent on the open seas.  Each knitted item finds a home and the seafarers they’re matched to, are extremely grateful for the extra warmth!

It's a great way of using leftover wool and making a real difference.

Here are suggested knitting patterns which are easy to download and the finished items can be posted to the charity or handed in at the Parish Office in Norton St Philip church from where we will arrange collection.

Andy Bowerman (our former associate priest) who is based in the Middle East returns to the parish regularly and has guaranteed to deliver any items we collect direct to ships visiting Dubai.

Another way to help is by buying Christmas cards and there’s a wide selection available through the Mission to Seafarer's website.

If you’re able to help or would like further information, please contact Debby Hill on 01373 830362
