Sue has been in this post of Children and Family worker in Hardington Vale since 2017. Sue’s background is in education and Early Years teaching and Religious Education are her specialisms. The post of Children and Family worker allows Sue the vision and the aim to offer support in relationships and discipleship to children and families across the Parish and she is a visible presence in the community establishing various programmes of engaging and creative activities throughout the church’s year. Sue is looking to encourage even more active participation of children and families in the life and worship of our churches in Hardington Vale in ways that are meaningful, lively, enjoyable and importantly, fun. This is often through such events as holiday clubs, Messy Church and family worship. She has developed a network of volunteers who can work with her as a team to help with such events. Sue is always looking for new ideas to help the way we work as a Church with children, their families, the schools and children’s groups in the parish.
